bookish-malarkey:

hey, so starting tonight me + my dad + my sister are going on this 4 week long road trip basically along the map route above (though there might be some changes along the way)!
it is pretty cool, we are going to stop in and/or go through: Atlanta, New Orleans, Dallas, Carlsbad (for the Carlsbad Caverns), Roswell (aliens!!!), Albequerque, the Four Corners, Flagstaff (they have this giant meteor crater near there, I think, so I can make a bunch of Homestuck jokes about how it came from Skaia and whatnot), Las Vegas, a bunch of national parks in Utah, Boulder, Rapid City (Mount Rushmore is kind of near there), some boring places in Iowa, Chicago, Louisville, and then back home!!
so yeah. obvs I’m not going to be on the Internet much (although my dad got this MiFi thing so we can have Internet in the car), so if it seems like I dropped off the face of the Earth all of a sudden, that is why. I will also probably make posts about what stuff I did each day! unless it was boring stuff like driving most of the day. I will tag these posts with “Kristina liveblogs her summer road trip” if you want to avoid them
anyways, that’s about it. I am excite. yay. (also, I guess you can suggest stuff to see that’s near the route we’re planning on going on? lol like if you know where the world’s biggest ball of twine is or something feel free to tell me and I’ll see if we can go see it.)
